Job description:

We are looking for an Information Security System Management Specialist with strong communication skills and analytical thinking to join the IT team at the Central Bank of Armenia.

Job responsibilities

Manage the CBA’s information assets and the access rights to information systems
Define security requirements for information assets in the CBA, monitor compliance with these requirements, and perform event monitoring
Analyze the causes of information security incidents in systems under your responsibility, participate in mitigation efforts, and prepare related reports
Develop security regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Analyze threats and vulnerabilities related to information assets in your area of responsibility, participate in risk assessments, and monitor risk mitigation processes, including reporting
Prepare progress reports on annual plans and other types of reports

Required qualifications

Higher education in a technical field
At least 3 years of experience in the field of information security, including at least 2 years in information security audit and/or risk management
Solid knowledge of international information security standards and methodologies (ISO 2700x, ISO 27005, NIST 800.x, Cyber Essentials, etc.)
Understanding of the fundamental principles of information and application systems security
Experience in information security risk management
Knowledge of operating system security event detection and analysis
Knowledge of computer network fundamentals (LAN/WAN/WiFi) and associated security principles
Practical experience working with Microsoft operating systems and services, including:
- MS Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS)
- MS Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
- MS IIS (Internet Information Services)
- MS Certificate Services
- MS File and Storage Services
- MS Failover Cluster Services, etc.
Understanding of database security principles
Knowledge of encryption technologies and algorithms
Excellent knowledge of Armenian, Russian, and English
Possession of at least one of the following certifications is mandatory: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, SSCP, GSEC, or GCIH
