Job description:
We are looking for a Head of Information Security System Management Division with strong communication skills and analytical thinking, who will be responsible for the implementation of the division's strategic directions and operational management.
Job responsibilities
- Manage the annual plan and performance, ensuring the division’s objectives are met:
- Ensure the management and improvement processes of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), in accordance with the ISO/IEC 27001 international information security standard.
- Ensure the update of the Central Bank’s Information Security (IS) policy. Develop and update the ISMS management procedures and regulations in force at the Central Bank.
- Supervise compliance with the requirements defined by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, internal legal acts of the Central Bank, IS policy, and ISMS procedures and regulations.
- Organize and conduct the identification, assessment, and inventory of external and internal threats and risks to information security for IT systems and processes under the supervision of the Central Bank’s ISMS.
- Manage the Central Bank’s information and cybersecurity awareness training platform, keeping employees informed about changes in the IS policy and/or ISMS procedures.
- Participate in the design/implementation of systems and services for the Central Bank's needs as an IS risk assessment specialist, proposing risk management solutions.
- Coordinate ongoing activities of the division:
- Assign and reassign functions.
- Organize and supervise ongoing tasks carried out by staff, ensuring continuity.
- Ensure collaboration within the division and with other units.
- Participate in discussions, meetings, and represent the division’s viewpoint.
- Plan career development for supervised employees and provide professional development support, mentoring, and coaching.
Required qualifications
- Higher technical education
- 5 years of professional experience in the field, including 3 years preferably in the financial sector and 2 years in a managerial role
- Knowledge of international information security standards and procedures (ISO 2700x, NIST 800.x, Cyber Essentials, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of configuring and managing security settings and policies for Microsoft Windows Workstation/Server OS, Active Directory, ADFS, and Exchange systems
- In-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux OS and security configuration and policy management for services used in these systems
- In-depth understanding of LAN/WAN/WiFi computer networks
- Experience in investigating and managing information security breaches and incidents
- Experience in information asset inventorying, defining and applying security requirements for these assets
- Monitoring of system events (logs), analysis, documentation, and response to violations and incidents
- Preparing reports on completed work
- Knowledge of relevant RA and international laws
- Excellent verbal and written command of Armenian
- Good knowledge of English and Russian
