Job description:

We are looking for a Supervisor who will be responsible for conducting activities related to the licensing and registration of financial organizations, including investment service providers (ISPs) and crypto-asset service providers (CASPs), granting prior approval for significant participation, registering managers, and performing other related activities.

Job responsibilities

Conduct activities related to the licensing and registration of financial organizations, including investment service providers (ISPs) and crypto-asset service providers (CASPs).
Conduct activities related to granting prior approval for significant participation in the statutory capital of financial organizations.
Conduct the registration of the charters of branches and representative offices of existing financial organizations.
Conduct the registration of investment fund rules.
Participate in the development and improvement of legislation and internal legal acts related to the licensing and registration of financial organizations.
Ensure compliance of reporting issuers with transparency requirements.
Identify violations committed by existing financial organizations under the Supervisor’s supervision and implement appropriate measures.
Perform other duties arising from the purpose of the position.

Required qualifications

Higher education in Economics.
At least 1 year of professional experience in the financial or a related field.
General knowledge of Armenian legislation related to the financial sector, including laws, regulations, procedures, guidelines, etc.
Theoretical and practical knowledge of financial organizations.
Knowledge of the RA legislation on crypto-assets.
Knowledge of finance, investments, and accounting.
Excellent command of Armenian and good command of English and Russian.

CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
CIIA (Certified International Investment Analyst)
CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist)
ICA Certificate in Compliance
CCE (Certified Cryptocurrency Expert)
CCCS (Certified Crypto Compliance Specialist) other relevant professional qualifications.
