Job description:
We are looking for an Operational Risk Manager who will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and assessing operational risks at the Central Bank of Armenia, as well as developing mechanisms to mitigate them.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and review risk and incident management policies, procedures, and methodologies.
- Support risk owners in identifying, assessing (RCSA), and recording risks, as well as designing, implementing, and monitoring risk controls.
- Analyze and assess incidents and propose actions to address them.
- Analyze reports on risks and incidents received from relevant departments.
- Prepare risk reports.
Required qualifications
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Audit, or another related field.
- At least 2 years of work experience in the financial sector in risk management, audit, or a related field.
- Knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
- Fluency in Armenian and knowledge of English.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Technical skills.
Nice to Have:
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), FRM (Financial Risk Manager), ICA (International Compliance Association), or another equivalent professional qualification.
