Job description:

We are looking for Legal Advisors to provide legal support for the regulation of the financial system and legal advisory services. This includes providing legal support for the Central Bank’s authorities in the field of corporate finance, as well as ensuring legal cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The workplace can be either Yerevan or Dilijan.

Job responsibilities
  • Provide legal support for long-term projects.

  • Draft and/or participate in the drafting of laws, regulatory and other legal acts, as well as review draft legal acts and documents related to regulated areas and provide legal opinions thereon.

  • Provide legal clarifications regarding the laws of the Republic of Armenia, other legal acts, international treaties, and civil law transactions, including contracts and agreements.

  • Review submitted prospectuses and provide legal opinions or prepare legal opinions on EAEU legal acts related to the powers and responsibilities of the Central Bank of Armenia.

  • Perform additional assignments and ad hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor and provide legal advice.

Required qualifications
  • Higher legal education.

  • At least 1 year of relevant professional experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of corporate law, financial system legislation, civil law, and civil procedure.

  • Advanced knowledge of the Armenian legal system.

  • Advanced knowledge of AML/CFT regulations.

  • Intermediate knowledge of international law.

  • Advanced or intermediate knowledge of the securities market.

  • Excellent command of Armenian and English, and good or excellent command of Russian.
