Job description:
We are looking for a Financial Statistician who will be responsible for processing microdata from financial organizations in the Republic of Armenia, ensuring data integrity, and calculating and publishing statistical data related to the financial sector.
Job responsibilities
- Process microdata submitted by financial organizations, conduct regular quality and reliability checks, ensure data completeness, and maintain accurate information in the relevant systems.
- Perform visualization of financial sector indicators and statistics in the BusinessObjects environment.
- Calculate and publish statistical data related to the financial sector for internal and external users.
- Regularly provide recommendations on improving reporting forms submitted by financial organizations and the relevant instructions for completing them.
- Work with reporting entities to address inquiries and ensure the completeness and accuracy of the data received.
- Conduct interviews with senior management responsible for determining banks’ lending policies as part of the Credit Conditions Survey.
Required qualifications
- Higher education in Economics or Finance.
- At least 1 year of work experience in economics, statistics, or the financial sector.
- Knowledge of accounting.
- Knowledge of banking.
- Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework of the financial system.
- Knowledge of economic statistics.
- Knowledge of macroeconomics.
- Knowledge of microeconomics.
- Proficiency in Russian and English.
- Excellent command of Armenian.
- Technical knowledge and skills, including MS Office and SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO).
