Job description:

We are looking for a Head of the Financial Supervision Legal Support Division, who will be responsible for implementing the Division’s strategic directions and ensuring effective operational management.

Job responsibilities
  • Ensure the implementation of the Division’s strategic objectives, annual targets, and performance management processes.

  • Coordinate the Division’s day-to-day activities, including:

    • Allocation and reallocation of functions and responsibilities.

    • Organization, supervision, and continuity of employees’ ongoing activities.

    • Ensuring effective cooperation among Division employees and with other departments of the Bank.

  • Participate in discussions and meetings and represent the Division’s position.

  • Support the career planning and professional development of subordinate employees through mentoring and coaching.

  • Prepare and submit reports, analyses, and studies to the direct supervisor.

Required qualifications
  • Higher legal education.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of experience in the financial sector.

  • Knowledge of business administration.

  • Advanced knowledge of financial system legislation.

  • Advanced knowledge of civil law and civil procedure law.

  • Advanced knowledge of foreign exchange legislation.

  • Advanced knowledge of corporate law.

  • Knowledge of tax legislation.

  • Excellent command of Armenian and knowledge of English and Russian.

As well as:

  • Leadership skills and ability to manage a team.

  • Strategic thinking.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Negotiation skills.

  • Ability to manage own emotions and understand and effectively guide the emotions of others.

  • Ability to build interpersonal relationships and foster cooperation.

  • Ability to motivate and encourage employees.

  • Ability to provide effective feedback and actively listen.

  • Decision-making skills.
