Job description:
Senior Project Manager is responsible for driving transformational, companywide projects working closely with multiple cross-functional leaders & teams. A key part of their role would be focused on developing, coordinating, and completing projects and initiatives, for ensuring resource availability and allocation, communicating project milestones and status to key leaders as well as delivering every project on time within budget and scope.
Job responsibilities
- Implements projects, which including digital & transformation projects, from concept to delivery and provides end-to-end project management in line with FINCA’s Strategy
- Manages, delivers, and maintains multiple projects simultaneously
- Understands and defines project scope and creates project requirement documents
- Formulates project roadmap together with Business Managers/project stakeholders and periodically updates it to focus on developing the most important features
- Delegates project tasks to junior team members based on their individual strengths, skills, and experiences levels
- Identifies and implements KPIs and project milestones
- Conducts periodic meetings to track the project teams’ progress according to the project roadmap and towards the project goals
- Effectively communicates project status and identifies any roadblocks and help needed from leadership in order to keep project on track and on schedule
- Coordinates sprints and related activities/meetings for digital projects
- Analyzes the relevant market trends
- Develops, maintains and updates project documentation, when necessary
- Performs quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the expected standards
- Collaborates with Business Managers/Project stakeholders and regularly reports on the project progress
- Analyzes potential risks and benefits of technology solutions to address project requirements.
Required qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or relevant field
- PMP, Product Owner, or Scrum Master certification will be a strong plus
- Digital or Business Transformation project management experience will be a strong plus
- Fintech Experience will be a strong plus
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in Project or Program Manager role
- Experience implementing projects with PM software systems: MS Project, Jira, Asana, or Trello
- Experience driving cross functional companywide projects
- Experience communicating project status to key executive stakeholders
Knowledge and Skills
