Job description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Mobile Application and Remote Services Product Owner to lead and manage our digital banking and loan disbursement application. As a financial institution, our goal is to provide exceptional mobile banking experiences and seamless remote service delivery to our customers. You will be responsible for the product's end-to-end lifecycle, from strategy to execution, ensuring that our offerings align with business goals and customer needs.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute the product vision and strategy for our mobile banking and remote service platforms.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog based on customer needs, business objectives, and market trends.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, design, compliance, marketing, and customer service, to deliver high-quality product features.
- Gather and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and competitors to enhance the mobile and remote services experience.
- Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data security standards in the product design and functionality.
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and innovations in financial technology.
- Create detailed product documentation and training materials for internal and external users.
- Manage communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on product development and performance.
- Collaborate with the technology team to ensure that the app's infrastructure supports scalability and reliability.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on digital banking or loan disbursement applications.
- Strong knowledge of mobile app development processes and experience with agile methodologies.
- Understanding of financial regulations, data privacy, and security best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and customer-centric product development.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and make informed product decisions.

Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience in launching and scaling fintech products in multiple markets.
- Certification in Product Management or Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with API integration and digital payment systems.
