Job description:
AUA Extension is seeking a German Language Instructor to teach German language courses to adult learners.
Required qualifications
Requirements
- University degree in German Language, German Studies, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Excellent command of German, preferably at C1/C2 level or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching German as a foreign language.
- Strong knowledge of German grammar and language-teaching methodology.
- Ability to teach adult learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowing English and Armenian
Additional Qualifications — Considered a Plus
The following qualifications and experience will be considered an advantage:
- Formal qualification in teaching German as a foreign language, such as DaF/DaZ or an equivalent qualification.
- Goethe-Institut teacher training or certification.
- Experience teaching according to the CEFR (A1–C2) framework.
- Experience preparing students for Goethe-Institut or other internationally recognized German-language examinations.
