Your role overview

As part of TCF’s PR team, you’ll have the chance to work with hundreds of journalists from leading Consumer tech, Lifestyle and Business media outlets, including Forbes, Wired, Mashable, Wall Street Journals and many more. You’ll be able to unleash your creativity as you write and deliver persuasive and thought-provoking story ideas to journalists through pitches, press releases and guest posts.

Maintain media relations and collaborate with TCF’s marketing teams in promotional activities, create campaign concepts and outreach strategies, and produce interesting and newsworthy campaigns.

Job responsibilities

Your Unique Opportunities:

  • Craft captivating pitches that effectively convey the project's message and inspire journalists across all tiers with vivid storytelling imagery;
  • Curate and enhance the TCF media database of 10,000s of journalists;
  • Create press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and other copy materials;
  • Get your clients published in Forbes, Mashable, cnet.com, Designboom, Digitaltrends;
  • Collaborate with TCF internal teams to reveal creative ideas, and PR campaign opportunities;
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, practices and innovations.
Required qualifications

Your Unique Skillset:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English with strong emphasis on creative writing;
  • Strong ability of relationship building with journalists and key stakeholders;
  • Ability to identify compelling story angles by conducting thorough analysis of statistical data and monitoring current media trends;
  • Understanding of online/print media and blogging community;
  • Ability of multitasking and working on several creative directions parallelly;
  • Negotiation skills for dealing with paid media;
  • Proficiency in key social media platforms and knowledge of how they are used by individuals and brands (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google+ and Instagram);
  • Limitless desire to continue learning about digital trends with the aim of expanding your skillset;
  • BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism will be a plus.
