Job description:
The incumbent will be responsible for analysis of borrowers' performance indicators for the purpose of creditworthiness assessment.
Job responsibilities
- Analyze financial and economic performance of clients, calculate key financial and economic indicators and assess creditworthiness
- Prepare an opinion on the loan applications of borrowers and submit it to the Bank’s authorized body
- Develop and maintain databases of borrowers' financial and economic indicators
- Conduct ongoing financial monitoring of the projects implemented by borrowers (monitoring of the target use of the loan)
- Submit to the Bank’s authorized body recommendations on defining financial conditions precedent and conditions subsequent (covenants) for large-scale borrowers
- Monitor compliance with the financial covenants set for the borrowers by the Bank and submit relevant conclusions to the Bank’s authorized body
- Cooperate with the respective units of the Bank within the scope of analyzing borrowers’ financial standing and exercising relevant control
- Perform other duties defined under internal regulations of the Bank
- Escalate and discuss with the line manager all problems that hinder smooth performance of duties
- Assess creditworthiness of clients and perform other tasks set by the manager(s) with respect to maintenance of the databases of clients’ financial and economic indicators
- Perform core functions defined for the position in accordance with the laws and procedures regulating this sector
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of the Service
- Operate under established roles, approved limits, and responsibilities
Required qualifications
- University degree in economics
- At least 3 years of experience in analyzing financial statements of legal entities
- Experience in the banking industry will be an advantage
- Ability to do Financial analyses
- Strong critical thinking
- Team-player skills, ability to respond and adapt quickly to changing situation
- Proficiency in AS Bank and MS Office
- Knowledge of Armenian, Russian and English
